Our good friends from Stoked are back with a new name, peddling pop-outs to the uninformed in your town! Apparently they've developed a system that lets you "catch every wave you go for"! Miraculous! They've even engineered these boards to eliminate such problems as pearling and digging a rail. Wow!
Just watch the video on their main page:
Clicky Click Degree 33 Surfboards
I'm prepared to buy one, paddle for a wave, miss it, and sue them for false advertising.
Remember to send them an email letting them know how you feel about it!

I didn't know they'd left. What happened to their other pop-out brand? I don't like them. No pop-outs!
There's a picture of the porpoise boards and your EVHQ on the Born to Lose blog.
Stoked Surfboards changed their name to degree 33 surfboards...the balls of this guy who probably cant even surf to put himself on a video and talk about design, shaping , etc
They say there boards are hand shaped Aussies. Is this not true? Thanks
You guys are fools who worse seem to think you own the waves like other locals who have no life ! Self proclaimed experts who ruin the very soul of surfing with your negative attitudes ... Funny the top surfers never feel the same as the local losers ... Plus anyone with a brain knows all the brands get their stuff shaped over seas ... since I have been to the places and seen the names ... so go spread your false crap to others who can't logic . Plus 5 minutes with the owners of degree 33 and you know they are total class and a young couple just starting a business to not have a 9 to 5 job to live the beach life and to actually not be controlled by the MAN ... funny you would make fun of them for having corp jobs i bet and now you make fun of them for coming into your world to escape the suits and to work as a couple .. truth is you are nothing more then greedy capitalist who are upset your business model is not working ... and you have the mentality of a 5 yr old thinking you where here first and that is all that counts :) plus you lie about most of the locals boards being not made over seas at the same place ( hypocrite ) ......
word to the wise don't fall for negative google bombing folks its just a sad way to try and hurt the new comers ........ the boards are great for new people and intermediate ...
So are there longboards pop-outs or not?
That should be "their longboards" for the grammar police!
sorry
anon - pressure molded thermal sandwich boards are pop-outs. They sell them, so yes. So are Surftechs and Bics.
Degree 33 are into marketing, not surfing. Surfhard...or Luc is a good businessman. He is using his internet prowess to hoodwink a new generation of surfers who have never experienced hanging out a local surf shop gaining knowledge from people who really know surfing. He is selling to the Amazon crowd. Go online..google them...all you find is a bunch of links to facebook,Linkin, all this internet sales stuff. He even has adds for interns to work for him for free.
He is just an internet junkie/hypster stealing ideas from real craftsmen. You want a great board...go see Pavel, Frye,Martin, Rusty, etc. Luc probably does not even recognize those names. He probably spends his time at internet marketing tradeshows verses surfing industry tradeshows. He tries to make it sound like the industry is against him because he is a threat. I think they don't like people like him, because he is fake and takes advantage of the uneducated. He probably grew up as a rich kid, mom and dad financed his business. His business plan is to use his internet abilities to sell to an untapped market...people who exclusively gather their knowledge off the internet. Pretty smart. But he is no expert.
